Emig`s 81 Diner in Abbottstown

I've come here several times and every time the food is just as good. Size of the meal is always relatively good, although somedays the plate is bigger than others. Price is amazing for the quality food you get, I've never left here thinking a meal wasn't worth it. A great small atmosphere and a great place to be in just for a meal or to spend quality time with family and friends. Hope this place never goes away!

The owner and his staff members are very friendly and kind. And the food is fantastic.

Nice atmosphere. Small and friendly. Tight but you can get a truck in if it's not too crowded.

Some of the meals were great. Others were a little disappointing. Have eaten here often. I have enjoyed many of the things I have ordered. Consistency is not always a strong point here. Service is always good. I will come back. However there are some things I will tend to shy away from.

Fantastic! Recently moved to this area had never been though passed it many times. The best grilled cheese on earth! Food is wonderful, down home comfort food. Excellent menu, desserts and friendly staff. Waitress was attentive and personable. Stopped by for a late sandwich and soup (830pm) very clean. Just a nice nice place! Breakfast is served all day!

Ate here yesterday, never again. I got the Thursday special Spaghetti with meat sauce. Nothing special about it other than that it was terrible. The amounts of seasoning I had to put on it just to make it taste anything was ridiculous. My wife liked her tuna melt though.

Oh yeah! Stopped by for a late breakfast and the food was really delicious and fresh. Home fries with chipped beef gravy was killer. The service here was the best I've had anywhere in recent months.

Poor service food sucks messed up a shrimp basket how can you do that.

Service is good. It's not very comfortable since the seats are from the seventies, but they are friendly and the food is OK.

Fast and friendly service! They even laughed it off when my one year old was making a mess. The food was good. I learned feeling quite satisfied and definitely will return when passing through the area.

Old fashioned diner that cooks real food. Friendly staff. Prompt service. Takes debit/credit as well as cash (diner down the road did not) Breakfast all day. I would definitely recommend this place.

We stopped here on out way to Gettysburg for breakfast and we were very pleased. The food was yummy and the process are great. We left satisfied and full, with to go boxes. I'm sure we will be back.

The food and service is great. My favorite is the home made chicken pot pie. They have Chicken, Ham, and beef pot pie. Home made. The service is fast and very friendly. A great place to take the whole family. It's my favorite place.

So glad I stopped in this little diner. Absolute best breakfast diner I’ve been to. Friendly staff, unbelievable prices, amazing food! We ordered Eggs Benedict and Monte Cristo. I would recommend both!

We just ate here for the first time and had breakfast for supper. French toast, bacon, and scrambled eggs were yummy! My mom had chipped beef gravy and home fries and she really liked them. Fast, friendly service. We will stop again on our way from VA to Lancaster, PA!

Better than IHOP in my opinion! Service is quick and the staff are as friendly as can be. Food is amazing and portion sizes are excellent as well. It may not look like much on the outside but it is well worth it to check this place out!
